Aspyr Media, Inc. Ships The Sims(TM) 2 University For Macintosh.

AUSTIN, Texas -- Aspyr Media, Inc. today announced they have shipped The Sims(TM) 2 University for Mac. Electronic Arts' The Sims 2 University is the first expansion pack for The Sims 2. The Sims 2 University introduces a new young-adult stage of life, 4 new career paths, new influence gameplay and more than 125 new objects. The Sims 2 University was developed for the Mac by Aspyr Studios, Aspyr's internal development team, under license from Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS).

The Sims 2 University allows players to explore a whole new stage of life as young adults and introduces college-related wants and fears that are ultimately tied to their Sims' social life and academic goals. The expansion also introduces influence gameplay allowing players to earn influence points to have other Sims do certain tasks for them such as homework, term papers, cleaning up the fraternity house or even pulling pranks on other Sims. Players will be able to choose from one of 11 majors and open up 4 new career paths as they make their way through University.

Your Sims are now young adults leaving home to live the ultimate college fantasy. Immerse them in college life as they become the Big Sim on Campus. They'll relish their new-found freedom as they party with friends, join fraternities and sororities and pull outrageous pranks.
